Pure Argon

Pure Argon has a purity of 99.9% which is an ideal gas for welding carbon and low alloy steels.

Pure argon is primarily used as a shielding gas with its high density it forms a good shield. Low ionising potential allows easy forming of welding arc without reacting with the metal elements being welded. When working with thicker materials other gases are needed whilst welding.

Pure Argon comes in 10 litre, 20 litre and 50 litre bottles which are all 300 bar working pressure.
